These tapestries were woven as part of a 20 year project in the village of Harrania. Mr. Wassef invited the children of the village to learn weaving on his looms, gave them wools and let them work. The resulting designs are amazing and sophisticated even though the children had never been outside the village. This is one example of the results. The Forman brothers sought the origin of these tapestries and collected them for this book.
