Each chapter of this book opens with a beautiful photograph of the Kuna people or their island environment. The book also contains beautiful photographs of the molas. I have to question the molas chosen for this book. Many are not good workmanship, either older primitive molas or modern poorly made ones. Apparently the author had reasons for choosing them. Some of the Kuna language is used in the captions which is a bit off-putting. But I would call it a must for any Kuna book collection.
