Jean Mitchell, one of my favorite quilters, prepared this charming book to raise funds for the preservation of the Carrie Hall quilt block collection at the University of Kansas, in Lawrence. With deep roots in Kansas, she drew each block by hand and her husband, Bill, carefully hand lettered all of the information.
