African print fabrics became very popular in the '90's, echos of the kente cloth. I collected my share of these intriguing fabrics. Some of the appliquéd motifs came from books, others are made up such as the mask and the snake. Never having been to the heart of Africa this is my fantasy.

Hand appliquéd, negative and positive, machine pieced, machine quilted
