I made this quilt after I took a photograph of the floor of the gift shop at Guell Park in Barcelona. The white and gray tiles were a natural mola pattern I knew I had to copy.

Hand negative appliquéd and machine quilted with gold metallic thread.

Donated to the San Jose Museum of Quilts and Textiles
