This was the first quilt after my first visit to the Kunas. I wanted to try one of the most difficult of the mola techniques that I had just learned. The process involves cutting two panels together then sorting out, positioning, basting and stitching the pre-cut sets of "fabric noodles."

Hand appliquéd and hand quilted.
