I wanted to try a bit of improvised piecing. I also added some hand appliqué in some of the spaces. Later when I went to see an exhibit of Sol Lewitt's wall drawings, I felt there was a similarity to some of his works which I love.

Machine pieced, hand appliquéd and machine quilted.
