This fabric by Nancy Crow in six colors inspired this quilt because it had the rough quality of rock. As I made more rock art quilts, more fabrics became available that were useful to me for the "rock look." That is probably why I spent so much time caught up in this series of my work.

Hand negative appliquéd and machine quilted.
