There are prehistoric stone structures in Ireland with interesting marks etched into them. Dating back to the Neolithic period, it is believed they were designed for astronomical purposes.

These are from sites at Newgrange, Dowth, Fourknocks, Cairn and Cape Clear.

Hand negative and positive appliquéd, machine pieced and quilted with metallic thread.
