After I had made so many quilts with petroglyhs, I decided to design my own glyphs. I found it was much harder than I expected. By that time I was so influenced by so many images of varied cultures, I could not clear these images and think in a "generic" frame of mind.

Hand negative appliquéd and machine quilted.
